Lovely park in Shepton Mallet. I was here volunteering for the Junior parkrun and walked around after. Great play area for children. Nice walks around the park with small lake and stream. Very clean park and I didn't see any dogs mess. Everyone I met in the park were friendly. A lovely morning and nice atmosphere.
A great and sunny afternoon. Well attended by families and groups. Plenty of food available for those that didn't bring picnics. Well organised. The only let down was that the public toilets could have done with a little tidying and cleaning during the afternoon. Would certainly go to other functions like this, weather permitting.
It's a very popular venue. It is dog friendly, if on leash. Very child friendly with lots of playground activities available. Clean restrooms available. Wide grassy area for picnic blankets, limited picnic benches and a cafe available most times
The cafe is a perfect addition to Collett park. The nice new play area also keeps our kids entertained for hours while we sit and drink in the sunshine.
Such a beautiful Somerset park: a wide variety of spaces and lots of facilities. Excellently maintained. Many mature trees and a duck pond. Accessible via cycle and footpaths.
Traditional park, lovely to walk around, Cafe and toilet block. Very well looked after. Parking a bit dodgy
