Collieston Beach is a picturesque coastal spot in Scotland, characterized by its rugged natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. The beach features a long stretch of golden sand, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and rocky outcrops. The shoreline is dotted with interesting rock formations, tidal pools, and hidden coves, making it a fascinating spot for exploration. The beach is also a popular spot for water sports, including surfing and kayaking, thanks to its consistent waves and gentle currents. On a clear day, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the North Sea and the surrounding coastline, while the sunsets are particularly stunning, painting the sky with hues of pink and orange.
Nice and clean small beach hidden away . Been here few times before. Pet and small kids friendly.
Lovely place to swim .. but you need to see it tide in and out so you know where you are swimming
An absolutely fabulous place where an atmosphere of peace and inspiration reigns. You can come here alone and with children. Everyone will find here something to do and how to spend time. Every time you come to Collieston, it seems to be painted with different colors for different moods. The sea can be perfectly calm and the sky overcast. Or the sea rage and the sun shine brightly. You can get on the surf of the sea, then the water goes far from the coast ... Then a cold wind blows, then absolute pacifying silence ... Do not forget to climb up and look at the beauty from above, how the sun plays with the sea and how the seagulls dance
A beautiful early morning. Beach is always clean, and very peaceful too. One of my fav beaches. However please reopen the smugglers cone. Missing my gin and tonic sorbet!
This was an amazing wee beach right into a corner. You hust and came down the hill to the beautiful beach. There's not much room for cars.
Great place for a family day out , clean, and nothing better sitting on the sand with the sun shining
On-site services
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Good for kids
