Colstoun was an absolutely perfect venue for our wedding reception. The variety of spaces, from the walled garden to the coach house, courtyard and lawn, meant things flowed beautifully and all the guests commented on how stunning the place was. The accommodation in the main house and on the grounds is also excellent and was extra convenient for our guests who travelled a long way with their children. Lyn and Cameron are so friendly and went out of their way to welcome us and make our day really special. Definitely go visit if you're looking for a stunningly beautiful venue a short distance from Edinburgh!
Our son was married at this superb venue recently. The main house is very grand, the ceremony room perfect for 100 guests. Post wedding festivities were held in the Coach House which has a large dance floor area and an enclosed courtyard with a fire pit.
What a great place. We were here for a wedding and the staff and the organization were superb. Accomodation is clean and tidy and wedding reception hall is very roomy. Vast grounds to go for a stroll and for an outside wedding which we attended. Keep this venue in mind for your big day!!
Went here for a wedding. Grounds and the house are very nice. Was a bit disappointed at having to pay 100 pounds per night for a self catering cottage with basics like no towel or soap provided.
