This theme park features life-sized dinosaur models, a dinosaur museum, and a collection of animals from around the world, including primates, reptiles, and birds, set amidst 25 acres of subtropical gardens and woodland.
If you are nearby with kids visit this Zoo, you won't be sorry. It is reasonably priced. The park is not big but easily can be spent all day there. Loads of different things - animals (monkeys, sea lions, seals, wolves and more), dinosaurs, Japanese garden, Egyptian tomb, ect. The train ride costs PS1 but I really suggest it, the best train ride we have ever been to. It is so very kind from one of the park parrots to greet people with a cute 'hello'. Do not miss out on Sea lion talk and play. The park is in a hilly area, so be prepared for a good walk. Pathways are really good, making steep walks much more enjoyable. Thanks to all the staff, we loved every minute spent there.
Lovely time. Up close with the animals. Fun for the kids. Lots of hills... so with 4 month twins and 2 under 6.. it was fun . But good family day.
This is a lovely day out for families ! Absolutely wonderful sea lion display ! What fabulous creatures . All the animals are clearly loved and have great enclosures.. The cafe was lovely serving freshly prepared food and the staff were friendly . I'd say good value for money . Only 4 stars because new construction is underway and much of the gardens are overgrown and the pathways tired .. The dinosaurs could do with some refurbishment too . But that said the children absolutely loved it and are now exhausted and for us that is what it's all about ! Would recommend ..
Great venue and lots to do !!! Book it online to save PSPS ? A little train ride that changes PS1 per person but it's worth it , the do timed shows and feeding throughout the day too and the meerkats your in the exhibit with them !!! Very informative too going round and the staff are very helpful. There was 2 sections closed off but that's because they are making room for sea lions and leopards
Our family day out to Combe martin wildlife and dinosaur park was wonderful, after visiting last around 4 years ago we saw many changes in action, the park is difficult for anyone with mobility difficulties though there are alternatives such as using the train service that makes getting round a little easier. Younger kids enjoy everything about the park, our little one did not stand still, the elder kids had a chance to learn about the animals and talks given were informative and friendly. The staff here are amazingly friendly which is a bonus you do not feel a burden as they are happy to help answer queries and give directions when you get lost. You will get lost here but maybe that's a good thing.. The park has many areas that can be used to find solitude, helping those that suffer social anxiety. The Animals are far better looked after than the members of staff, (joking) as it looks like every animal is on holiday. It was wonderful to see animals that enjoy their enclosures. Combe wildlife park is a great place to visit the wolves are our favourite, you will love them. You will not need the gym after this trip! This was a wonderful day out and our family at Debnheirs promotions would like to thank you all. The welcome at the desk, The offer to board the train, The talks about the mo keys and the meerkats, And the lady at the gift shop, Thank you. You were all wonderful.
Fairly small wildlife park with some dinosaur exhibits. It's a good size to keep kids entertained but not take too long to get around that they get bored. Sea lion show was great. The site is very hilly! Be prepared, especially if you are accessing with a pushchair or wheelchair.
