Neapolitan and British art in a Georgian stately home in 120 acres landscaped by Capability Brown.
Lovely grounds. Difficult to appreciate the house as walls were hidden by the art displays. Most artwork was unfortunately not to our taste. Plenty of outdoor activities for children. Plenty of walking paths. There's also a public footpath that meanders close by. Lovely coffee shop and excellent service
Great place for a broad range of art and sculpture, history and lots outdoors including some nice walks. Restaurant/ cafe is excellent with great service and a range of food and drink, lots from local businesses
Lots of parking, easy to find and well worth a visit. Lovely grounds with some interesting art installations , and a wonderful art gallery , cafe and shop. Really enjoyed our visit here.
Great venue. Did 10k race there, bit warm and stumbled on uneven path through farm, but no major problem, a ew grazes and a very bruised hip a few days later
This was our first visit here and it was a lovely day out, our children loved exploring in the gardens and using the chain ferry. There is a lovely gift shop with some unique items, not just your usual gift shop items. Staff in the reception were very friendly and gave a very warm welcome. We also found the staff in the cafe to be helpful too. Some very unusual artwork in the grounds, quite a unique collection of items on display. We also enjoyed using the bird watch and took some lovely photos.
Love wondering and exploring the grounds with my little boy and pond dipping to see what we might find . Lots of activities are put on to enjoy for all ages throughout the year . Brilliant place to visit again and again
