Coniston Launch offers a variety of ways that you can enjoy a beautiful boat cruise on Coniston Water in the Lake District. We offer regular services covering three different circular routes on Coniston Water (red, yellow and green routes). During summer these routes run daily and during winter there is a limited red route service on certain days. Stay on the boat for the full cruise or hop on and off at any of the jetties to catch a later boat back. You can combine a boat cruise with one of the popular walking routes around Coniston Water. We also offer special themed cruises (green route) which run once a day Monday to Thursday during the summer months. We also offer a daily direct service from Coniston to Brantwood.

Really enjoyed this trip even on a rainy day. You can get off and do walks from a number of stops but make sure you check with the crew before getting on board as the route and stops vary. Book online to save 15% . Definitely worth a trip.

We hired the boat for the scattering of ashes. Dave and Natalie were very welcoming and accommodating. Dave was absolutely empathetic kind and very informative about the surrounding areas. They stopped the boat halfway so that we could do a very personal sendoff. Everything went off very well, it was peaceful and very spiritual absolutely beautiful. Dave and Natalie exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have asked for a better sendoff and loved the energy Dave and Natalie brought to this special occasion.
