This is the second year we have to visit lambing. My granddaughter really loves the baby lambs and wanted to bring one home and was upset when told no.
Amazing time at Church Farm, Coombes for lambing! Staff and volunteers were very friendly and shared lots of information. We had the opportunity to see lambs being born and feed the 'pet lambs'. Fun tractor tour across the farmland seeing the animals out in the fields, as well as some Red Kites. Decent facilities (toilets, washing, cafe, ice cream van etc). Definitely worth it! Worth knowing that the 'pet lamb' bottle feeding times are at 12:00 and 16:00 hrs.
Absolutely loved it, had a fantastic time. The scenery was beautiful on the way up there very pleasant drve. Had a lovely time with our 2 1/2Yr old son and his cousin's the lambs were so cute and the staff were so friendly and polite. Even got a chance to hold a baby lamb it was such great fun for all the family young and old. We are Definitely going again next year and recommending to other to go along!
It was an extremely enjoyable day out for the glastonwick festival, and made it so good that it was on a working farm, the free bus up and back again was good and took stress away of having to find transport up and down, really hope its not the last year
Lovely little farm trip, could pet the animals which was nice. Have a little cafe on site and an ice cream van.
Me and my mum took my daughter for the first time to see the lambs , she absolutely loved it , it was lovely to see how the farm works and seeing all the lambs , we also saw a calf as well. When we arrived , we didn't have to wait long in the queue to book ourselves in as I precooked only , I also took my daughters old baby bottles with me for the staff to feed the lambs that need to be bottle fed , the staff were so grateful for the bottles, we also did the tractor ride around a couple of the fields and saw more eof the lambs in the fields and there could of possibly of been some more calfs. We had a brilliant time and already thinking about going again next year .
