Without the bridge there is no gorge to see. It's costs between 15k and 20k a year to maintain this bridge. As such we charge PS5 for parking or free if you are an NTS member. Please be respectful to staff who are there for your safety. We highly recommend not parking in any other areas that are not designated NTS parking as this could be dangerous. Plan ahead and have a "B" plan as our car park is small and can get busy and fill quickly. Please keep dogs on leads at all times
Arrived around 10am on a Saturday on our way out to Ullapool. Parking lot spots for caravans were all taken but found an overflow spot just up from the main lot. Cafe serves great coffee, has a nice selection of food and the staff was extremely friendly. The walks are amazing, and the views everywhere are incredible - out of a storybook. Highly recommend!
Great walk through the gorge to cross the bridge and access the viewing point. The site is still being developed, and will see signage added over the coming weeks. It's not a walk for physically disabled and medically challenged (bad heart etc) but if you can, I'd definitely recommend you invest around 45 minutes of your life to see what's on offer! Corrieshalloch Gorge National Nature Reserve offers a short but scenic walk, perfect for a quick stop on your travels. Starting from the car park, which is on the pricey side (PS5 for cars and PS10 for vans/motorhomes), you'll find all the necessary facilities including toilets, hot and cold drinks, and even a motorhome service point (though this comes at an additional cost). The walk to the bridge and viewpoint is an easy 10-minute stroll, leading to impressive views of the gorge. However, the experience may be a bit nerve-wracking for those with a fear of heights, as the bridge has a noticeable sway. The limit of six people on the bridge at a time can be frustrating on busier days, as everyone vies for the perfect photo. While it's a nice spot to visit, it didn't leave us in awe, but it's worth seeing if you're in the area.
Magical falls and a lovely visitor centre. Easy access paths to the suspension bridge but after that a little bit more technical. An ideal drop of spot for a shortish walk. 2nd carpark a little further down the road. Free entry but carpark payable, NT members park for free
Nice gorge. Varying levels of walks. Some ups and downs but manageable. Good paths mainly gravel/dirt but wide. A few benches. Views from the bridge (look down) and the viewpoint. Cafe closed at the moment. Toilets are open. Parking plus overflow parking.
An impressive high waterfall with a viewing platform above it. Nice walk to actually get there through woods, good for most people The big downside was that the car park charge was PS6 for cars and PS10 for motor homes. Small gift shop there and great toilet facilities
