Sitting in the heart of the Cotswolds, Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park has a long-standing reputation for a countryside holiday destination and family fun-filled day out. As the home of rare breed conservation, visitors can meet over 50 flocks and herds of farm animals, including Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs and Highland cattle. With an adventure playground, Farm Safari, Maze, Sand pits and Jumping pillows, there's lots of entertainment for children of all ages.
We stayed here with our caravan from Sunday until yesterday and we had a fantastic time. The staff on the campsite are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. When we arrived we got a detailed explanation of where everything was which was super helpful. The whole site is well maintained and kept to a exceptional standard. On Monday we visited the farm and again kept to a high standard and you can just tell the animals are so well cared for. We had dinner in the Ox Shed. Food was excellent and you get a very generous portion. Overall a very excellent few days here and will not hesitate to come back.
Excellent day out very kid friendly. So many animals and hands-on too, in door area where rabbits, ginuea pigs and chick's can be stroked. Bags of food can be bought on entry for the outside animals, goats, sheep, pigs, horses and cattle. Regular hand washing stations Really good experience for children. Restaurant could do with better planning as layout is hectic and menu choices were too fancy.. just add a cheese toasty for ordinary folk! Nice shop with good range of gifts
We had our little dog with us so we did the long wildlife walk and it was lovely. Lots of different birds and we saw a deer amongst the beautiful array of wild flowers and grasses. Well worth the walk. We then went into the Ox shed where dogs are allowed and had a wonderful lunch. Bought some nice things from the gift shop including a couple of bottles of rare breed pale ale, very nice too. All in all we had a great day.
Such a great farm! We had a fantastic day here where the kids got to bottle feed and pet the animals, brilliant play facilities and food options. An all round enjoyable day, definitely one to visit if you're in the area. Best farm we've ever been to.
Stayed here three times, in winter and in spring. One of the best sites we've stayed at, pitches are a good size and fully serviced (hard standing ones). So much to see and do on the campsite and in the surrounding farmland. The food at the cafe/bar is exceptional and the afternoon tea is a must if you're after a bit of luxury. Seen the Christmas lights, lambs being born and plenty of birds of prey. The Humpty Dumps sunsets are magical. Facilities are modern, clean and some of the best we've come across.
Fantastic place to visit. Spent a couple of hours wandering around looking at the rare breeds. I loved the layout of the farm with the barns for interaction with the animals. Got to hold chicks, stroke rabbits, free lambs & stroke the goats. A path winds around outside showing more animals in enclosures with a variety of boards about with educational information. Several toilet facilities & places to eat. Plus a well stocked gift shop. The day was topped off actually getting to meet Adam. Who was so lovely taking the time to speak to my mum & I & pose for a photo with us.
