Neighborhood green space with a playground, a small skate park & activities for adults & kids.
What a great park! Such a variety of different spaces, it has a good kids play area, skate park, basketball court, tennis courts (if a little basic), wide open parkland area, wooded areas, plenty of benches and bins too. Beautifully kept and loads of community activities going on here as well. Not sure what's going on with 'The shed' cafe, seems closed down at the moment, but hopefully will reopen soon.
Pros: large space, well maintained, large children's park, some sort of community club building (I didn't enter,) skate park, basketball/tennis courts, benches, picnic benches literally everything a park needs (and more) + loads of free activities through the week such as strolls, Zumba, yoga and chess! Cons: skate park is small (not a real con I really had to think of something)
A very pleasant urban park. It is well maintained with footpaths to walk along and some open areas of grassland to walk through. There is a small car park. There is an extensive children's play area. There are some some free tennis courts too. The park is very popular with dog walkers. There is plenty of signage around the park with some reference to a Friends group for the park. See the attached photos for details.
Lovely place for a young family. Good range of playground apparatus. Community run cafe offers a wide range of drinks and snacks and there's a box of kiddies playthings for youngsters to borrow.
Such a lovely local park which became even more of a haven in lockdown. Great amount of space and different sections to look at while walking. The hut (serving tea, coffee and ice cream) when up and running, is a great addition and the playground is a good size too.
Didn't know this park existed. Went to cocomad ( a fundraiser for the park ) because my wife was singing in a choir. It's a nice green space and suitable for wheelchair users.
