This 14-hectare park in Oxfordshire features a large open space, walking trails, and a variety of sports facilities, including a cricket pitch, football pitches, and tennis courts. The grounds also boast a children's play area, a skate park, and a pavilion with changing rooms and toilets. The park is surrounded by mature trees and offers scenic views of the surrounding countryside.
It's a good place to play games with friends. It has nets for hardball cricket practice, there is a turf cricket pitch in the middle of the ground, good for softball and hardball matches. There are other equipment for workout and exercise. Also a walking path around the ground for jogging and walking. Dog friendly.
A large park, with easy access to the canal... Like most local parks, the council keep it clean. You can use it out of hours as the canal backs on to it.
It has an outdoor gym, two cricket netted pitches, small zipline, a view of canal and boats, children play ground, Bowling place, basketball courts, drinking water tap, shoe cleaner, lush green and serene.
It is a pleasant enough park with fitness aperatus, a butterfly garden (although this looked a bit neglected), children's play area, bowling green and fenced sports area. At the rear is the canal with numerous barges parked up.
We live locally so visit the park every day with our dogs. In the good weather you can find cricket and football taking place and families having picnic as well as people exercising on the equipment in the keep fit area and there is all the bowls club
Nice and clean with plenty of space despite there being quite a few people here today. Outdoor gym facilities and a football ground as well. Dedicated enclosed kids play area with basketball courts. Brilliant for a morning out.
