Wow beautiful park, we went horse riding and met many people who were enjoying their walk
If you like open spaces with views and an easy walk along tarred roads which are reasonably quiet then this is for you! Also great if it has been raining and your dog has just been washed! He/she'll stay clean! We park at Cranbourne gate and cross the road. The carpark isn't open late which is annoying in Summer (same applies to all of the Great Park paying carparks).
Beautiful place to ride horses in the distant shadow of Windsor Castle! Feel as the late Queen Elizabeth felt as you ride where she once rode. Beautiful rolling hills and shaded spots. Use horse fly spray on the horses as the flies can be relentless on them. Nice hacking area.
Natural beauty, clean and full of interesting old trees.
Quiet and peaceful. Nature all around.
Really pleasant place for a walk, but I wouldn't use its car park unless you don't mind paying PS3 per hour, as the other car parks, not that far away (and so could be part of your walk), are free!
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
