This 13-acre park in northwest London features a large open space, walking trails, and a variety of flora and fauna. The green is surrounded by mature trees and includes a pond, a children's play area, and a community garden. The park also hosts community events and activities throughout the year.
Millennium green is an absolute gem hidden away on Claremont way. Families come to visit and sometimes dog owners but lately there are less dogs. It's beautiful and very well taken care of. You're more than likely to see the volunteers here regularly cleaning and maintaining the park. There are flower patches and plenty of benches. I would highest recommend to visit the park and would like to thank the great volunteers that keep this place the great place it it !
It used to be a nice little park but now they have started padlocking the gate open so it's not safe to let children play freely or to let dogs off the lead. I used to visit all the time but no longer do, a lot of local people are upset about this. I heard they want to sell the land to developers so are probably doing this to put people off visiting.
It's small with nothing much in there. However, if you have dogs it's really convenient. You can close the gates and there is plenty of space for them to run. It's also well looked after and has benches. The land is privately owned and whoever the owner is pays for the maintenance and keeps it open for the public.
Never knew this little park was there. Once a month, volunteers help keep it tidy by doing major pruning and a general clean up. I volunteered today and it was good fun. Loads to do and it was nice to see loads of volunteers helping.
The park has been shut since the 29th of June 2023. Any reason why? Can anyone explain what is going on? There is no number we can call?
Nice place to walk the dog, talked to some of the volunteers who were collecting the rubbish. There should be no need. There are plenty of rubbish bins there by entrance
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
