A picturesque beach with gentle slopes and a long stretch of sand, Cromarty beach is a haven for beachgoers. The shore is dotted with interesting rock formations and tidal pools, perfect for exploring. The beach offers stunning views of the Cromarty Firth and the surrounding countryside, making it a popular spot for picnics and relaxing days out. The calm and clear waters are ideal for swimming, kayaking, and other water activities.
Lovely little place to spend some time. Usually great for spotting dolphins however we were not lucky enough today.
Stunning location, visited late afternoon to see the oil rigs and a bonus cruise ship leaving. Will definitely visit again.
Cromarty beach is a peaceful spot that looks out across the Cromarty Firth towards the massive Port of Nigg. Despite the industrial backdrop, it's a very tranquil area, with a few dog walkers and a few people on the numerous benches beside it. We spent half an hour or so, just enjoying to view.
The beach is not that splendid. Maybe the weather didn't help.
A nice quiet walk along this beach with little congestion is a great way to unwind from all the vacation activities.
Not on of the most picturesque stretches of sand due to the hulking rigs just off shore but it is right off the coast of the village and is a very pleasant place to eat an ice cream on a hot day , also has the clearances memorial
Good for kids
