A bit barren in places, but that's moors for you - they have their own beauty. Other sheltered areas are rocky, tree lined or covered with heather - which looks fantastic when flowering. Great for dog walking and general exercise. Some lovely views, and plenty of places for solitude. Bins are at the carpark only.

Came here after looking at the pictures and thought it looked good but the waterfall isn't very good. The view was quite nice, a nice view of Shaw and Oldham. Waterfall was just a bit of water dripping down. To get to it go down from the 2 paths and you will see it after walking from a minute or so.
A delightful place to go for a long walk with family and friends. Decent parking, yet a bit of a walk from the trails you will be walking on. Some of the paths are a bit steep and twisting, so may not be suitable for small children.
