Stayed here as members of Caravan & Camping Club (PS50 per year membership) and couldn't have found a better spot. Very quiet, only 10 pitches. Facilities clean, animals in neighbouring fields are friendly and very grateful of an apple or carrot. Perranporth and St Agnes Head both within walking distance of campsite.
1st stay at Cross Coombe following a recommendation from family and what a beautiful place! Lovely views with tin mines, coast and St Aggie. Walk down hill to a secluded cove or yomp over headland to Trevaunance Cove for fun in the sea / cafe / bars. Just a handful of well-placed pitches that makes it feel somewhat exclusive. Good facilities, our kids loved the donkeys and alpacas and owners Glynis & Fred were friendly and helpful. We will now be regulars.
Finding Cross Coombe Farm Caravan and Camping was the best thing we ever did! Over the years, we have spent many happy holidays here and although we come for 6 weeks every year, it never feels long enough! Glynis and family are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and it always feels like we are coming to see friends when we visit. The site is peaceful and the pitches are spacious with a beautiful view of their farm animals (Donkeys, ponys, horses and an alpaca) as well as further afield into the valley. Each pitch has electric hook up and water. Some are hard standing and others are on grass. The site is child and dog friendly. The shower and toilet block are nice and there is a fridge, freezer and an area to wash pots. As Cross Coombe Farm is next to Perranporth airfield, there are often small aircraft taking off and landing, as well as parachutes coming down which is fun to watch! If you fancy a walk, there is easy access to the coastal path where you can walk to Perranporth or St Agnes. A short walk down the road is Trevellas Porth Cove. Beware - It is quite a steep hilly walk back! If you want to get away from it all and not be packed in like sardines, we highly recommend staying at Cross Coombe Farm
If you're after a small quiet location with basic shower facilities and fantastic walks this is it - we went back approx 2 weeks later. Very friendly family affair.
Great little site friendly owners clean showers and toilets . Cost path right on your door
Lovely wonderful site, ideally placed for access to the beach and South West Coastal Path. Peaceful site, no traffic noise. Spacious flat level pitches. Private shower rooms with their own toilets which are impeccably maintained and cleaned. Wonderful, fantastic, friendly and ever so helpful owners and they have the best egg's freshly layed from their chicken's. They have donkeys, horses and Alpacas. Enjoyed so much we extended to six nights. Next time we come back from Wales we will definitely be staying at Cross Coombe Farm Campsite if they have availability .
