Lots of beautiful woodland paths. 16th century Doocot (dovecote), ... and a motte (I've still to find). Lots of bluebells this time of year (May). Some paths have a bit of a steep gradient up towards Cumbernauld Fields and House. Popular for dog walkers.
An enjoyable walk. Paths are varied, combination of paved paths and trails. It's easy to find your way round. Easy to make long walks or short ones. Quiet, so quiet we saw a deer. If you are in the area and looking for somewhere to walk, park at the Cumbernauld Theatre and Academy (free parking) There is also a coffee shop at the theatre for post walk snacks. It was cash only! as of Nov 2022. I couldn't use it as I didn't have any cash, but the staff were very friendly
Great place to walk...very tranquil listening to the water and birds..theres a 16th century Dovecote there..a lovely building..good for dogs and children...
Great place for a walk with the family, the bluebells are blooming now too in the highest part of the glen. Beautiful to look at and great for photos.
Quiet, beautiful at any time of the year.
Great walk through the Glen or in the woods...wood paths muddy at this time of year. Unfortunately lots of plastic etc discarded and needs a clean up. Watch out for broken glass on path leading up from Glen to the West of Glenmile bike trails. Have cleaned up most of it.
