The Curraghs Wildlife Park is set on a scenic wetland. With over 350 animals from 60 species set over 25 acres and nature trail going through a RAMSAR site - a wetland of conservation significance - making up a further 15 acres, its a great place for all ages. The Mangrove cafe serves hot & cold food and drinks, there are lots of play areas for children. Talk and feed times run regularly at peak times. The Curraghs Wildlife Park is a member of BIAZA and EAZA which means it takes part in conservation breeding programs organised globally and contributes to conservation of species in the wild. Penguins, Gibbons, Spider monkeys, Lynx, Flamingos, Tapirs, Meerkats, Red Pandas, Otters, Macaques, Emu, Wallabies and so much more!
Wildlife Park in Isle of Man. PS13 per entry for adults. Good amount of animals all around with nice nature trails. Some animals difficult to see compared to others. Has a cafe inside the Zoo. Overall a good Zoo experience.
No complains from us on a half-day visit to Curraghs..! A well kept variety of animals, insects, birds and staff..!! An enjoyable cafe, with a good range of fare at sensible prices. Recommended for children of all ages (including those of us who have retired..!)
Amazing animal park, love visiting it on a regular basis whilst on the island. Wild wallabies to be spotted whilst walking round the Curraghs, and yes we have seen them :D amazing little train that runs on certain days, manned by volunteers and hobbyists that takes you on a 5 minute journey around some of the park for PS1.50 a ride! Definitely worth it. There's kids play areas and a jumping pillow. Lots of viewing windows for animals so little ones can see too. Also areas where some animals are free to roam and you walk in with them. Staff are lovely and the food in the cafe is spot on. I honestly can say I love it there and it's definitely one of my favourite places to visit.
Great place to visit for young and old alike. Learn about different eggs in the discovery hut. Talks on the animals. And see the lemurs having fun in our viewing enclosure
We visited on a very wet day and some areas were a little flooded but we had a wonderful visit, bigger than expected and very close encounters with the animals, really friendly in both shop and the cafe which was really nice
Visited the park in between racing at the TT recently. Amazing place, full of incredible wildlife and friendly staff. Some animals I have never seen in person before such as the Red Panda and Tapir. Meerkats were hilarious and overall park surroundings are great too, Jurassic Park'esque. If you're visiting the island or want somewhere great to watch the racing and have something different to do in between the races I highly recommend it. They even do really good food/drink to order during TT weeks delivered to the car park!
