A superb location for a short stroll or take a longer walk through the forest to the charming Speech House Lake. Plenty of seating around the arboretum to take the weight off and enjoy the surroundings. Many trees are labelled and are interesting to study. A great place to visit for an afternoon outing.

Really peaceful place , time to reflect by yourself or like me to share the experience with a loved one. One star missing because of the dog pooh left by numerous individuals and in one case bagged up in a plastic bag and left on the track, why do people do this....

Lovely! Nice variety of tree (as you'd hope), free parking, dogs running maniacally after elusive squirrels, good paths all round the place, proper gates - a lovely welcome to the forest walks surrounding. (Also nearby is a lovely looking lake)

We visit here regularly to exercise our dogs in the enclosed and gated area. Two good car parks make access easy and also gives you direct access to forest trails for longer walks.
