Family run caravan and camping park located just 2 miles south of Keswick. We are surronded by 360 views of Skiddaw, Blencathra and Helvellyn. Offering grass and hardstanding pitches with or without electric along with static caravans and a traditional cottage available to let. Open from March - October.
Lovely peaceful campsite, gorgeous views. Clean facilities, very family friendly. Great location as well, close to lots of walks and a 5 minute drive to Keswick. We encountered 3 different staff members and all of them were friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back and will recommend to others.
Perfect campsite, with stunning views and facilities to match! So happy with my stay here two weeks ago, that I'm returning today for another 3 nights to explore more wainwrights! Bernard who runs and lives on site with his family was very welcoming! Showers and toilets were clean and hot! Great to have access to a small kitchen with fridge/freezer too! Perfect to keep those beers chilled when returning from a long day out hiking, sat by a campfire and no loud music/groups in sight!
First time camping and this site did not disappoint. Really friendly owners. Ideal placement in the Keswick area and the views are amazing at the site. The toilets and showers were always clean and never too busy. A really friendly site and I don't know if I would bother looking anywhere else when we stay in the lakes. Highly recommend
Quiet and remote - great if you like that. Sometimes a few choice aromas around from the farm. Yellow water from the peat but safe to drink. Tokens for showers a little annoying and no temperature control. A long hilly walk to Keswick so plan food options in advance.
A friendly campsite with wonderful views. Only a 10 minute drive into Keswick but with a quieter, more spacious pitch than the ones in town. The shower and toilet facilities are kept clean and warm and the price is very reasonable. The staff are friendly, helpful and clearly take pride in their site. This is our second time staying and we'll definitely be back.
This was our first time visiting Dalebottom Farm and we would highly recommend to others. We were welcomed on arrival and were able to pick our pitch. The field we stayed on was spacious and quiet. Toilets and showers were always clean and tidy! The weather was quite stormy at times and a member of staff kindly asked if everyone was OK. This is a superb site and is a credit to the owners.
