Lovely area to sit and take a break. Boat's sometimes pass by and there are always duck's to see. I stopped for my lunch after a hospital visit and ended up staying for an hour and half. Peaceful place and you can't hear the road. There's also a trail to walk and benches to sit on.
Was lovely have walk down there before but iv been kayaking down it. There is lots of wildlife and two paths one next to the canal and one that's tarmac.
Lovely place so near to town center it's hard to believe so much natural wildlife.
I saw two boats going each way through the lock. Lots more wildlife in the canal. Would be nice to have a bench fitted on the towpath. Firstly for those with health problems that need to rest and then to enjoy view.
Could be a lovely place but it seems a bit neglected and there was a drunk having an argument with himself, so I didn't hand around
Nice example of an old canal lock and would be picturesque anywhere else but unfortunately it's right in the middle of Burton which means in reality it's just a place for gangs of youths to hang around at night smoking weed and being abusive to anyone who walks past. Best avoided if possible.
