This 14th-century fortified manor house features a unique blend of medieval and Tudor architecture, with a striking great hall, ornate chapel, and impressive battlements.
Absolutely stunning site. Lots of lovely walks and things to do in the area. Woolacombe bay is a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear water. The shop has everything you need. Great facilities for showering. Lovely staff. We loved our stay and will be back.
Simply the best Campsite. I absolutely love it and return year after year. All the staff are extremely friendly The pitches are large and the views are spectacular. Showers are immaculate and the site shop has lots of fresh food and gifts. Don't even look at another campsite in North Devon, just book this one my happy place
Beautiful setting for a caravan park. Views amazing, walks from site plentiful to different coves, beaches and places of interest. Bus stop outside entrance very handy to Woolacombe/Ilfracombe. Staff helpful and friendly. Shower blocks and toilets immaculate. Shop well stocked, but a bit pricey. On site visiting food vans, fish and chips, pizza, Thai/Chinese. All look amazing!
No chalets. Stayed on camp site in our campervan. Beautiful site. Sea view. Toilet and shower blocks are really clean and large. Couldn't fault at all. Allocate for all your needs including washing area.
Our favourite campsite in north Devon so far! A great setting with sea views for a majority of pitches. The whole site is very clean and well managed, as are the shower facilities, and also a small shop with lots of nice/fresh products.|There are also visiting food options on some evenings (thai, pizza, fish and chips etc), not sure if this is certain times of year only.|We'll definitely be coming back!
Truly one of the nicest campsites we have stayed on in the UK. Beautiful views of the coastline from spacious well-maintained pitches. Quite an exposed spot so can be windy (storm straps and metal pegs needed) but this is a small price to pay for such a great position. The campsite staff are friendly and helpful with a wealth of information about the local area. The bathroom facilities are amazing, so clean with excellent showers. There is also family bathrooms with full size baths, a rarity at sites and very much appreciated as a parent of small children. Thank you for a lovely stay
