This open green space with a modest playground, war memorial & orchard is popular for dog walking.
I loved visiting the park. We went on a very hot day and walking under the shade of the trees was very nice. We found a water station for dogs and it would have been useful to have a sign indicating if the water is also good for human consumption. Very peaceful and beautiful park. The car park is also free and quite spacious.
A collection of walks around a series of fields, has a lovely little orchard of fruit trees, which you can "take a sample" of. Dog friendly (off leash too) .
Absolutely lovely park- not too big- easily walkable due to payment walking strip made all around it. There were a lot of dog walkers- so it is a lovely park for one and all. There is also a small children's play area next to the car parking. There is a single Car parking (which is free), so please put 'Darenth Country Park car park' on Google map when you drive here. There is no coffee cafe/restaurant that we could spot during our visit. Beautiful views of the A2 from the park- so its a lovely feel being on the other side of the world, and watching car zoom past at a distance. It looked beautiful in February winter- and I can only imagine its glamor when the spring /summer arrives. Would visit again.
Lovely park, big park. I visited a playgroup on this occasion. No busy, well maintained, seats available, picnic tables too. Free parking, brilliant for walking or dog walking. I've seen just a little bit today. Plenty more to explore next time
Nice place to go for a nature walk! There is a lovely orchard (it looks abandoned, which is a shame) But beautiful place to go for a walk.
Great open area for letting the dog and the kids run around. Very clean walking trails and lovely views of the horses nearby.
