This 55-acre nature reserve features a stunning gorge carved by the River Clyde, with scenic walking trails, waterfalls, and a variety of flora and fauna.
Beautiful spot for a lunch stop and a quikc dip in the water. Not very deep so don't expect a swim. Well worth the walk to see it. Then made my why to Russell's cairn to admire the view from the top. Had a lovely day out for my birthday.
Beautiful, 'out of the way' spot. Smaller than expected, but still managed a splash about. Shame not deep enough to swim more than 3 strokes! Focal point of a 10 mile circular walk. An excellent lunch spot out of the wind, tho the midges en route to and from Davidsons Linn enjoyed a bite or three!!
Nice place for a nice peaceful hike
Great place to hike
Wonderful setting for a private picnic and a refreshing dip.
Lovely spot, out of the way and very quiet. Not deep enough to swim but a good spot to chill in the water
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
