Lovely little station. No amenities apart from toilets and a waiting room. Shade would be really good on a hot day. Walkable from other Dean Forest Railway stations so you can mix the train with exercise. Need to take care of some of the pre-restoration rolling stock in the siding.
My daughter love the place yesterday and the service only issue is she's vegan and she was given something with clotted cream it wasn't a problem but still will return for another trip soon
Whitecroft is another nice little local Station on the "Dean Forest Railway Living Museum Line" as I like to call it. Now that I have had the pleasure of being able to take a little tour from Norchard Station down to Lyndon Junction and the up to here, where we will then on to Parkend Station where the train will be able to change ends to bring us back to Norchard Station as it is the Main Centre of their Railway Living Museum.
