This 120-acre park features woodland, riverside walks, and scenic views along the River Derwent. The park offers a variety of wildlife habitats, including woodland, grassland, and wetlands, and is home to a range of flora and fauna. Visitors can explore the park's many trails, including the Derwent Valley Heritage Way, which follows the course of the river. The park also features the historic Winlaton Mill, a 17th-century corn mill that has been restored and now houses a café and exhibition space.
Great place to take the dogs for a walk, the path is flat and not too muddy. Area is well sign posted, close to the Land of Oak & Iron centre.
