A 19th-century watermill turned tourist attraction, featuring a restored mill building, a large waterwheel, and a museum showcasing the history of milling and the local area.
Small free car park just before the entrance on the roadside. View of the cool double bridge and nice walk along the river on a boardwalk and wooden bridge to see the pretty small waterfall and eroded rock formations. Loved the green bush, ferns and moss
Fantastic place been there a few times nonetheless waterfalls are stunning there is lots of little ones too. Whole place is like a hidden little sanctuary .. great for swimming in a few spots too. Always ppl in when I've been .. greatvweevwalks too and romantic .
Couple of entrances here, wasn't until doing the walk then leaving, definitely be back to explore some more. Fantastic place, not buggie or wheel chair friendly. Friend is great with heights but managed, a few steep drops but beautiful place
Small car park nearby the bridge. Red arrows Good paths and handrails, but some steps down (and up). Worth it to go to the viewpoint and lower bridge.
Nice for a walk you could probably spend hours roaming the woods
The "lower" bridge, without parapets, was built in 1713 by mason William Gray, and the "upper" bridge which gave it an easier gradient was built in 1816. The Rumbling Bridge, also known as Devil's Mill, is incredibly unique and sits over a deep gorge. There is a footpath with handrail that takes you to a viewing platform and parking is just at the bridge itself. Make sure you wear good footwear as the path is a bit steep.
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
