Dingles Fairground Museum an undercover facility housing the National Collection of historic fairground rides and equipment.
One of the best places to visit. Unfortunately it's closing soon. So be quick. You can buy tokens for the rides when you first go in,but there's machines dotted around inside that you can buy more from with your card. Friendly happy staff. A good food area. It's all clean. Lots of old fairground memories too. Plenty for children to do. A massive deckchair outside for the obligatory photo. Please visit if you. The tipping point machines take 2 p coins. There are change machines inside too. Sad to see this amazing place close. We've made a lot of happy memories here. Thank you to all the staff over the years.
Wow this is a very special place to visit. The whole atmosphere was just brilliant. We looked at everything and then we tried a few of the vintage rides. Both enjoyed it immensely. Great way to spend a few hours and it's all undercover. Made my holiday thank you.
We visited here as a last resort as the weather was supposed to be terrible and there is nothing else to do indoors in the area. We had a great day, we spent 3 hours here and definitely could have spent longer, the fact this is closing is at best confusing and worst devastating. The staff were amazing and so passionate about the rides, the rides themselves were so much fun with people over 80 and under 1 all enjoying them.
One of the best attractions in Cornwall. I'm so very very very sad it's going to be closing. It's like the end of an era. It's been amazing to go there and actually ride the rides. I'm so happy you've been there and so sad you're closing. I really wish it could be reversed.
Really interesting and fun museum. It's a great shame the collection is moving at the end of the season, but at least it's not lost for good. Go while you can!
Lovely way to spend a few hours. Staff were great. Enjoyed looking round the museum then having a go on all the old rides.
