A 10-foot-tall lamp post in the shape of a dinosaur, specifically a Tyrannosaurus Rex, made of fiberglass and steel, with a lamp on its head, standing in a park in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England.
Amazing day out although was abit busy, the coffee from the cafe was lovely, gift shop needs to be updated but still a nice location
A great way to spend a few hours, loved the gift shop... Lost a star since it looks more like a llama, but llamas are also cool.
Review by Jack, aged 15 months. This is my first trip to the Lake District and this was the most epic dinosaur I have ever seen (except for Granny & Grandad). I made Roar noises on the journey to get mum and dad in the mood and loved getting up close to one of my favourite dinosaur breeds. I am now an accomplished dinosaur handler and am looking forward to finding many more dinosaur lampposts in my lifetime. A+++.
Honestly worth coming, 3.5 hours drive and it was all a breeze once we had seen this absolutely magnificent masterpiece, the owner should be so proud, a once in a lifetime experience, I wish they still roamed the earth, but they don't anymore, but don't worry, coming here made me remember the good times
It quite literally is a Dinosaur Lampost! As other have said, we were not disappointed! The cherry on top of our little stay away!!
Made a special trip to check on this landmark today. Very happy to see it still standing proud.
