A smashing little museum about Downham market. Interesting and free. A great place to visit
Went here for a creative workshop. There was also a cafe on today run by volunteers ..the food was all home made and very tasty. Lovely friendly people running the museum. I believe it is free entry and there is also a free car park.
Really nice e penitence at the heritage centre. Had great discussions with the guy (and trainee) who had a wealth of knowledge . The centre covers all aspects of life around Downham and was very educational
Speaking as a pensioner who was brought up in Downham, I found all the displays fascinating. My 97 year old, blind Mum also enjoyed the experience. The staff were extremely helpful, too. (Our dog was also welcomed)
