Seaton Wetlands is brilliant. Fantastic place to bring children with paths to explore. Good cycle path joining Colyford to Seaton. Sand martins are amazing.
We got off the Seaton tram here as it is one of the stops. Absolutely loved this beautiful nature reserve, lots of different birds including tv screen to watch birds in bird box. Nice warden to talk to. Different bird hides overlooking lakes, board walks, duck pond, we are definitely going to go back when we have more time. A lot is accessible for wheel chairs. even have toilets here which was a welcome surprise
Excellent place to visit if on the Seaton Tramway. Very helpful and informative staff. Delighted to see the young kestrels in their nesting box before they fledged. Soft drinks and tea/coffee available.
Lovely stop on Seaton tramway it is a relaxing way to watch the birds
The wetlands are great but the discovery hut was closed managed to glimpse a nest box with some chicks in through the window. It's a lovely area.
Super place through which young or old can explore local wild life, accessible to all, with decent toilets, close to tram line. Snacks and hot drinks available at the weekends, hide with identification charts, picnic tables, nature trails nearby. And seating so you can gaze at the clouds!
