Doddington Place Gardens is a 20-acre botanical garden featuring a variety of plant species, including roses, herbaceous borders, and a rock garden. The gardens are surrounded by a 10-acre arboretum with a collection of mature trees, including oak, beech, and chestnut. A tranquil atmosphere pervades the gardens, which also feature a pond, fountain, and walking trails.
Amazing place to walk in the nature and you only meet nice people around the park. The tea room is beautiful and serves food as well. The homemade cakes are fantastic! The staff is lovely, friendly and happy too. For someone like myself, who isn't English, this place is the image of how England would look like before I moved here. I highly recommend it to anyone!
Absolutely beautiful gardens!!! A real treat. Amazing kept and sculptured. They have a nice little tea room and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the scenery.
We loved our day at Doddington place gardens with my parents. It was a glorious sunny day and we loved having a walk around the beautiful gardens and having a picnic. Dogs are welcome and our Siberian husky loved looking around and seeing some pigs and sheep. He was very interested but obviously was on the lead causing no threat to the animals. A fun beautiful place for all the family to enjoy.
One of the best gardens ever! Absolutely love this place. The gardens are just beautiful. And all the staff are friendly. The tea room is excellent and staff are very helpful. They provide gluten free which is one of the nicest gluten free cakes I've had! I could go back weekly!
I came to check this out for a potential visit for my Horticultural Society - and we will definitely be coming here! The further you get into the garden, the better it gets. The rock garden was looking amazing, there was still so much colour in the woodland garden, the yew topiary was staggering in its scale and even the sunken garden looked great, even though I was a probably a month or two early to see that at its best. The only difficulty will be deciding when to come back as this is clearly a garden that has interest in every season. Really lovely terrace by the tearoom overlooking the lawns too. Definitely recommended and for me it was well worth the 1.5 hour drive.
We had a lovely wander through these beautiful gardens, A little gem in the Kent countryside. Had a lovely cup of tea and slice of cake in the tea room made extra nice by being able to sit outside in the sunshine. I would highly recommend a visit.
