A 3-mile stretch of sandy beach where dogs can run freely off-leash, with calm and clear waters perfect for swimming and paddling, surrounded by picturesque dunes and scenic coastal walks.
Wonderful views from here and plenty of parking too. Along the prom there are lots and lots of places to sit, eat and get ice cream. Mmmm. Well worth a visit and have to say it feels much more local and friendly than nearby Blackpool and I prefer the views of the lakes from here also. (And the parking is by far superior).
Unfortunately there are signs saying no dogs allowed between May and think it said October on the beach between certain locations, forgot to take photos of the sign but they did say there was a fine imposed if caught walking ya dog on the beach, assume this is because some owners are not picking up their 4 legged friends poop. Also watch out for rip tides and quick sand so maybe not a good idea to wander to far away from the dry sandy beach when the tides out.
A small area perfect for newbies and veterans alike. Or puppy had a great time with his first time in the sea.
It's pure mud like an ice rink so slippy
It was lovely and clean. Very busy. The sun was shining. The tide was up. Children and dogs playing happily. Had a gorgeous icecream from Moi something? (Sorry can't remember the name).but the icecream was delicious. A fabulous afternoon with a lovely friend
