Exceeded expectations, a must do if in the area. Stunning and varied landscapes...... butterfly season, I have never seen so many butterflies in my life together at one time, fantastic to see
A really fantastic walk. Is a slight incline (for those of us with weaker knees) and spotted a dirt bike track throughout the site. Great for taking the dog and seen some horses too
Lovely hill fort for walking and picnicking
Great dog walking countryside with wide, well marked paths through forest land. Good for long walks and even better for long, long walks. My two collies love the open spaces and are properly worn out after a good two hour yomp!
Quick wander up the hill fort, then off to the Crown in Churchill for a few pints and snacks, absolutely the best pub in the area
A local walk for us. You can go through what looks like the Alpine village or walk past that on the lower road and you will find some stairs that lead to a footpath.
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
