We went for a walk along the beach and were amazed by the number and size of the fossils in the rocks. We parked at watchet and walked over just after high tide so the sea was retreating. There were oyster catcher happily calling at the sea front and we would definitely go again
Great beach and a lovely stretch of coastline to explore and fossils to be found. Only down side is the carpark with direct access to the beach has been closed.
Lovely quiet dog friendly beach, half sand half pebble. Stayed there overnight and found a crazy amount fossils. Perfect day out. If you're after a true sandy beach this isn't the place for you but if you're looking for a nice quiet dog friendly beach this is for you
