This 33-acre park features a large lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space for picnics and relaxation. A children's play area and skate park cater to families and thrill-seekers. The park is also home to a memorial garden, dedicated to the Donisthorpe family, and a variety of wildlife, including birds, fish, and other aquatic creatures.
Lovely afternoon at village fun day. Lots to see and do. More events planned including Proms in the Park 23rd July
Looks good in an area of regeneration after the decline of the pits. Lots of walking to do. I did not use the building but there is clearly local businesses in there including soft play. Free car park.
First time around this lovely park, will definitely be back.
A smashing little park used for football, picnics, village events, dog walking. No bins provided, please take your rubbish home.
Not a lot to recommend or disapprove of but OK in my opinion for Family visits if you like the outdoors
Sad but lovely to see the respect people still feel for the lives given for us all.
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
