Wonderfull, charming and delightful local museum and heritage centre showing all the various historic periods and history of Dorking. Booked up a visit to Dorking caves found all the staff friendly, helpfull, accommodating and knowledgable. Located in West street. Free entry. It's a great place to visit, just pop in.
Lots of history of surrey, it I'd quite small but it is free to visit and worth visiting. It has friendly staff who have alot of knowledge on the history of this area.
A lovely, quaint museum! Very knowledgeable volunteer staff - lots of interesting, informative displays. There's a small public car park in West Street just before the museum - go slowly as it's easy to miss! Currently the museum is only open Thursday to Saturday but is well worth the couple of quid entrance fee.
