Great place for visiting with camera.
What a gem of a find this place was. Tranquil, beautiful and full of interest to the budding nature enthusiasts. Well maintained, apart from a fallen tree that stopped us from visiting the North hide. Met a lovely gentleman called Tom who was so knowledgeable of the reserve and very helpful. Fantastic day out! Thank you.
Delightful. Some well positioned hides. Clearly marked paths. Long trek through the grounds in a car to get to the parking area. Derbyshire Wildlife Trust membership admission only. Coded lock access.
Very quiet and lots of wildlife, a lovely walk with very few people.
Locked gates. You need a key code to get in. It does give this information if you check on the website so perhaps my fault for just relying on google. Hope to return with code and hope to give 5 stars.
Lovely reserve within 5 mins of being there we saw a kingfisher perched up
Good for kids
