You can often see people fishing for wild brown trout from March until September. Parking is available outside the entrance from Redford Road. The terrain is not suitable for wheelchair users.

It's our m favourite local Park. Dreghorn woods are lovely and the best way to have a peaceful afternoon while having a walk in the woods. This place is very well looked after, family-friendly and accessible to everyone. We are thankful to be living close by in those times of global pandemic. It's a great place to have a catch up with a friend while social distancing ;)
I walk dogs here twice a week. It's a personal favourite of mine and the dogs always have a ball. Lots of friendly people and a good place for sociable dogs. A bit muddy so wear boots!
A lovely circular walk of about 35 minutes. Really interesting remnants of the trenches that were dig for training purposes during WW1 and less so during WW11. The walk can be quite muddy at times.
Travelled all the way from Kilmarnock to see colinton Muriel's on underpass and well worth the journey . If anyone fancies going , best way to get there , number 16 bus from princess Street , and it stops at colinton village . Ask directions once you get there , only a 15 Min walk from coop . People I met in the village were so friendly compared to the big city
