Enjoy a great family day out at one of the top kids days out in Sussex. Widely regarded as the best small zoo in the country, we've created an animal and child friendly environment where the focus is always on fun finding out. Get nose-to-nose with sloths, red pandas, armadillos, giant anteaters, capybaras, monkeys and more! However, animals are only half the fun; Go Wild!, Get Wet!, Go Safari!, Rainforest Adventure, Amazon Adventure, Mungo's Adventure maze, immersive sensory experience SPARK and Jurassic Jungle are paradise for anyone wanting a theme park experience. It's no ordinary zoo, it's no ordinary day out!
We came to Drusillas for an experience day and really, really enjoyed it. We got to help make the feed for the capybaras/beavers and go and feed them and give them a good cuddle. The staff throughout the day were extremely helpful and friendly. The experience was one of the best I've ever done and I definitely have a new favourite animal now in the sweet beavers! The range of animals at Drusillas is fantastic and they are so so interactive for the kids. There are activity booklets dotted around free for the kids to use and a huge playground that looked awesome. There are plenty of food areas to choose from, a free arcade, a cute little train, a maze.. I can't list all the reasons you should bring kids here. We will be back for the Anteater experience!
We went on a Friday during the summer holiday. Booked online and went straight in. It was busy, but there is plenty to look at and move around. Little wait for the rides, but some we got straight on. We loved the animal themed rides. A great range of animals to see and could interact with animals. Very clean all around and friendly staff. We thought the pricing was a little step for a family of six, but we were there for the full opening hours and felt we had our moneys worth. Highly recommend and was worth the over an hour drive
Absolutely brilliant, it's well worth the money for the tickets, the animals are beautiful and well looked after, the play areas are fantastic, and the rides although not high and fast are brilliant for youngsters and adults haha. The wet and wild was brilliant and my son who has Autism and other difficulties absolutely loved everything about the park and enjoyed getting wet. I would recommend taking a picnic as food & drink is a bit expensive. Other wise just go and enjoy the day.
Picked a boiling hot day to go, I had the Lemur experience and it was fab, I've forgotten the name of the young lady who lead it for us, but she was awesome, very informative and lovely. Plenty to do, the splash pad was super busy and it created some arguments, there doesn't seem to be anywhere close to get changed, so you have to go over to the toilets, fishers farm have little shed things to change in, which is handy when assisting a less able disabled child. Love all the little rides dotted around are free to use, I think we got our monies worth for them alone. We had an access ride pass, but didn't actually use it, as what we went on didn't have much of a queue.
We had a really enjoyable day at Drusillas Park! We weren't sure if the ticket price would be worth it, however we spent 6 hours there and could have definitely stayed longer had the kids not got tired. The park is really well laid out. The animals are cute and plentiful and there are activities to do while seeing them, the rides are prefect for young kids (a little scary/exciting and totally safe), plenty indoor and outdoor play areas. If we stayed in the local area we would definitely get an annual membership, but it's a fun filled day trip. Highly recommended for families with young children!
A great day out for my son's birthday, although the weather was bad! This did not spoil our fun with plenty of sheltered places to hide from the rain. Staff were friendly. Lots of animals to see. Lot of activities for the kids. Big outdoor playground and rides ( all included in the ticket price ) Food is reasonably priced but cans of fizzy drink at PS2.30 I thought was a bit much! The park is very clean with lots to do and i would recommend a visit.
