Dundon Hill Hillfort is an Iron Age hillfort situated in Somerset, England. The fort is nestled within a wooded area, and its earthworks are still visible today. The hillfort is roughly oval in shape, measuring approximately 180 meters by 120 meters. It is surrounded by a single rampart and ditch, with an entrance to the northwest. The fort's defenses are impressive, with steep slopes on all sides, making it a secure stronghold. Archaeological excavations have revealed evidence of occupation from the 5th century BCE to the 1st century CE, with finds including Iron Age pottery, coins, and metalwork.
