This attraction is a car park and play park located in Dundrum, United Kingdom. The car park provides ample parking space for visitors, while the play park offers a fun and safe environment for kids to play and exercise. The play area features a range of equipment, including climbing frames, slides, and swings, as well as a designated zone for younger children. The park also has picnic tables, benches, and grassy areas, making it an ideal spot for families to spend time together.
The breakfast was great but there was some stuff missing on my plate that was advertised in the description but as we were running late I just let it slide and I'm sure if I had of raised it it would have been addressed.
Situated a couple of miles outside Newcastle, Co. Down. A pleasant, well-kept, grassy area with a number of large picnic tables with bench seating available in addition to a children's play area - suitable for small children. Toilet facilities are basic but better than nothing.
Not a bad wee spot and is a nice place to stop for a picnic. Not too much there but the park will keep the kids busy and has great views. Only major downside is the condition the toilets are always in, the have been disgusting the last 3 times we have used them. I think that's just down to lazy stinkers not being considerate.
We go here quite often and its a great place to go with the family. We often picnic here as there are plenty of picnic tables and a large grassy area as well as a large playpark. It has a separate park for the little ones and a sort of obstacle course for the older ones which is brilliant. The views here are breathtaking. You can see right across dundrum bay. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the toilets are very poor. They are very small, never any toilet roll and they are always a state so i'd advise to go a toilet before coming. Other than that, its all good
Large car park and picnic area with good play park and public toilets. Just outside Dumdrum, directly off the road and close to murlough bay although no direct beach access. The play park is split into two enclosed areas for different age groups and is well maintained. Multiple picnic tables and grassy areas to have a break although due to position beside road not the most picturesque spot to choose in the area.
Good spot for a rest. Great playpark and obstacle course for children. A few picnic tables (and it's only 2mins to the chippy in Dundrum). Nice view over the inner bay and access to public footpaths that go around the bay and onward to Newcastle. There are public toilets, BUT, don't expect to 'spend a penny' in the evening - the toilets are locked from about 5:30pm Grrrr (wise up Newry & Mourne District Council - get that sorted for visitors!)
