This 19th-century country estate features a stunning Victorian-era mansion surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, woodlands, and a tranquil lake, offering a serene atmosphere and scenic walking trails.
A beautiful secret garden feeling with its different pathways and beauty it holds I had the pleasure of going to the tulip garden opening there 20,000 tulips planted and looking beautiful n colourful n with such a variety to see too not fields of tulips more so group's of different colours emerging together. It is a wonderful place to see and visit.
Definitely worth a visit on the garden open day the plants are beautiful. Tea coffee and cake all proceeds to charity (was quite expensive 2 cups small polystyrene type of squash and a tea and one slice of apple pie was PS10.80!) Not huge and difficult to get to all the parts with a buggy and or wheelchair.
If you are looking for an alternative to traipsing through a Norfolk field full of Tulips, whilst being manhandled by a militia of oiks ("volunteers"), who don't want to be there, or moreover, do not want you there, then I can think of no better alternative to this very well established garden, managed by a lovely group of people offering an excellent selection of home made cakes, teas and coffees. Very well presented and managed and I look forward to returning.
Gift of nature calm and relaxing to walk with families and friends. There is a tea and sweet corner where you can sit and feel the beauty of surrounding. So regal! A must see
