*There seems to be an intermittent issue with our Google opening hours. We Confirm we are OPEN every day throughout the Summer Holidays* Eagle Heights is open every day from 11am - 5pm from 1st April to 30th September. Our hours then change for the Winter (please see our website). Flying displays are 12noon and 3.30pm every day that we are open. All animals are housed outside so please dress appropriately for the weather. Flying displays are held inside our indoor arena in bad weather and we also have an undercover eating area.
Bird of prey centre near Eynsford in Kent with free flying bird displays. It's also possible to go around the zoo type area. As well as the great selection of birds of prey including eagles, owls, kestrels etc they have meerkats, alpacas,,rare breeds if sheep, goats and lots of Husky dogs. The live show is the jewel in the crown, lasting an hour it is both informative and entertaining. Seeing the magnificent birds taking to the sky and swooping down to take food on the wing really is something. The staff are very knowledgeable and we're happy to answer questions. Eagle Heights is set on Hills with beautiful views over the countryside. There is a small cafe on site, toilets and also a gift shop. There are benches outside and a nice picnic area. It's around PS14 to enter and you could spend around 3 hours or so there. You can park free if charge.
Really lovely little place. Got a deal on groupon which made entry very reasonable. The bird show was really informative and enjoyable. Place is quite small so doesn't take ages to get around but lovely if you need to entertain children for an hour or two. Stunning local views too. Car park could be a bit better. Would come back and recommend.
Really nice place! We did alpaca walk experience and it was perfect, nice and friendly animal, all very organised and the guide was very competent and he really too all of us in the alpaca world. After the experience we have stayed around to see all the animals and bird show that is very beautiful and you get to see eagles flying around free in the sky as we never did before. The whole place looks very nice managed, clean and all the animals in very nice condition, we will be back in the future!! Thank you
We took part in the meerkat experience. What a great time we had. Sean our keeper was friendly and so enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge with us. These little creatures are truly amazing . We were able to feed them and stroke them and they climbed up on to our laps. A truly wonderful afternoon spent at Eagle Heights. We also watched the birds of prey display and Brad and Alex were also very informative and kept us entertained when the snowy owl didn't want to conform to the plan
Went yesterday for the third time for a puppy play date experience. It was amazing. The young ladies were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We had many kisses from the pups and a few belly rubs. We've also done Meet the Huskies and Walking the Alpacas and afternoon tea, which were also great. Again the staff members were very knowledgeable, friendly and some highly amusing! You can see how much they love these animals. Definitely recommend a day out here and the experiences.
