This museum showcases the rich history of East Cowes, a town on the Isle of Wight, through exhibits and interactive displays. It is housed in a 19th-century building that was once the town's council chamber. The centre features a range of artifacts, photographs, and stories that highlight the town's maritime heritage, its role in the development of the British aviation industry, and its connection to famous residents such as Queen Victoria and Winston Churchill. Visitors can explore the town's history from the 18th century to the present day, including its significance as a major shipbuilding centre and its role in World War II.

A lovely little place run by brilliant volunteers. Tells the stories of East Cowes with lots on the industrial heritage, including original demo models of a hovercraft! While were there the temporary exhibition was exploring the floating bridge but they cover everything from the healthcare systems on the island to the Naval training centre. Well worth a visit.
