A picturesque waterfall on the moors of North Yorkshire, East Gill Force drops 15 feet over moss-covered rocks, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and is a popular spot for hikers and nature lovers.
Lovely waterfall in Keld bit of a decent down some steps to get to it but really worth a look with multiple levels of falls really is pretty and the surrounding area is just beautiful . Keld itself is a very charming village and when we visited there was a help yourself mini cafe in the church hall which was a lovely touch with tea ,coffee ,cold drinks and home made cakes which you paid for with an honesty box or with a card reader.
A good little gem of two waterfalls that lead down into the river swale. Not far from Keld bit of a steep descent down to the waterfall so take that into consideration but on a decent pathway with handrail . All in all and good falls and looking forward to going back . Enjoy
Nice waterfall steep descent to it but worth a stop. The area itself seems more suited to hardcore hikers but we enjoyed the waterfall and valley view on the hill just further on.
Lovely set of falls nice walk though steep in parts car park and tearoom
Really lovely spot. We did not swim in the pool but in the river further down which was refreshing. Quite a lot of hikers and some other swimmers were there at the time so don't bank on having the place to yourself for long!
Such a beautiful place to visit. Well maintained paths very stable underfoot.
