Plenty of space to park, a LOT of space to stand and watch the planes take off and land, you're surrounded by photographers and people with a passion and fascination about planes!
Great viewing point to watch planes around the perimeter of the airport spent a couple of hours here will return to visit the aeropark nearby at some point
Brilliant placeto take the kids to watch the planes take off and land
A lovely scenic walk, or stay in the car to do some plane spotting. Early evening is the best time to spot the rabbits
The Aeropark is easy to find and park up. The cost is very reasonable (PS5 Adults / PS3 Children) and makes for a cheap/enjoyable afternoon out. There's 20+ Planes to explore, several of which you can look inside depending on which volunteers are around. You can also take picnics and watch the planes landing/taking off from one of two viewpoints the looks out across the runway. Highly recommended!
Not great if you want to film planes landing and taking off as fence obscures view. Otherwise, it's a decent view if just watching. Fairly busy, but parking OK. Icecream van present when we visited.
