A beautiful 32 acre modern garden which contains many "garden rooms" including herbaceous borders, gravel gardens, sub-tropical gardens, a box partrre, sunken rose garden, Mediterranean garden, Desert Wash, large woodland garden.
The garden is much bigger that it looks online with multiple 'rooms' and vistas. The planting is exuberant, full of lush foliage and brightly coloured flowers everywhere you look. Currently in August the pots look stunning and are often a masterclass on plant combinations. Although no dogs are allowed inside a very shaded parking area is set aside for them out in the car park. My one gripe is we were given no map and despite our best efforts missed the tropical garden.
Me and my mother came here by chance when looking for a garden to visit in the local area and what a find!!! We were both blown away by the imagination, passion, creativity and dedication over the years that has resulted in these simply stunning gardens. We were met with colour, variation and tranquility in abundance. As an added bonus the plants you could buy are taken from the gardens and in a lot of cases are plants you wouldn't find in most nurseries. To finish off our meander we had a pleasant tea and cake at the cafe; which capped a perfect day. This place is incredible and an absolute MUST!!
Amazing place to visit, especially if you like tropical plants and palm trees!. There is a great range of plants and tree to see and a amazing water feature and pond area. The tea room is lovely and plenty of tables, you can also buy plants from here! Very good prices. Takes a couple of hours to see everything. Will visit again soon
An amazing garden with room after room. We couldn't believe the variety and breadth. Beautiful kitchen garden as well as flowers and wild areas. Easy paths for anyone with mobility issues. A great plant shop & tea room for lunch or a break. I would really recommend.
Amazing place, so much to explore and such variety. A lot of care has gone into these gardens. Friendly staff. Lovely tearoom too.
It's the most beautiful garden. Endless discoveries to be made. It's our second time, and we were glad we went back at a different time of the year to see different plants flowering. A well worthwhile visit.
