Extremely informative and lots to see and read about the local area packed into a small space. Never knew there was so much history in our towns. Donation instead of entrance fee and a lovely little gift shop. Great interractive area for children and a clean loo. Took an hour to get around but watched a video and read everything on display. Went Saturday morning and at one point were the only two people in there. Probably not suitable for very young children. Enjoyable visit and volunteer at desk very pleasant and helpful.
Very well curated items of interest for East Surrey. I was there with special interest in local geology. There is small section dedicated to geology and some useful maps. Also many maps of historical interest.
Vey interesting and learnt a lot on local history, going back thousands of years before BC. Amazing displays and some very helpful staff. Well worth a visit.
Great museum staffed by informative and kind volunteers. Highly recommend visiting the museum. While it may be small, it is loaded with great information and some gems.
A delightful little museum with lots of local history and local information. The volunteer staff are also very friendly and living resposititories of local history. There is also a library two doors or so down with a local studies section too.
Tiny museum but the kids loved it. There is a room dedicated to kids. Surprisingly they particularly enjoyed the type writer. We managed to spend a couple of hours there.
