Eco-park with an educational focus, with artificial biomes full of plants from around the world.
What an amazing place to visit. We were lucky with the weather, not too hot and dry all day. A lot of walking as it took us 6 hours to do most of it that's including coffee and lunch of which were fab prices. The rain forest dome was our favourite especially going up the steps above it all. As long as you can stand the heat and heights, then you will be fine. They accept dogs but only in the outdoor gardens. So many plants and lovely flowers. If you are into this then it's perfect. I personally love could not take kids as they may get bored even though quite a few parks. Toilets all around. Overall. Amazing.
Beautiful place to visit if you're in the area. The children really enjoyed it here too. It teaches you about all the different plants and climates from around the world. It's amazing to walk through and feel the different climates and the humidity. There's also a park for children to play
This is a wonderful day out for the whole family. There are lots of play spaces for children inside and out. Dogs are welcome. Parking is free. Free water bottle refill in the restaurant. Blue Peter badge holders are free. Queues for food were really bad. There was plenty of staff, but they were a bit slow serving.
I absolutely love Eden and strongly believe in their mission. I've visited a few times now, and I vividly remember going there as a child, not long after it first opened. It's been incredible to witness how much they've progressed, not just with Eden itself, but also with their other projects around the world. Eden offers so much to do that I recommend spending at least a couple of days here. There are various areas to explore, including the biomes, the Core, and the extensive outdoor planting areas. The stage also changes its theme periodically, keeping the experience fresh. There is a wealth of information to absorb, both for parents and children, with important messages and advice woven throughout. My 7-year-old had a fantastic time, and it was touching to see the impact the place had on her. I appreciate how Eden has tailored these key messages to be accessible for children, allowing them to learn through play and exploration. The food options are excellent, with a focus on a plant-based menu that I particularly enjoyed as a vegan. However, I can understand that this might be challenging for those with different dietary preferences. It was quite busy during our visit, and we had to queue for some time to get food at the biomes, but the quality made it well worth the wait. I will continue to visit Eden and look forward to exploring their new sites and seeing how their other projects develop.
I have been wanted to visit the Eden Project for years, and on our latest holiday to Cornwall we finally went, and I am so pleased we did! We went with 2 adults and 2 children (4 and 9) and filled an entire day there! The biomes are amazing, and the children especially loved the Rainforest side. There was a great playground, a trail for the kids and in the centre arena, the children could get hands on with some animal activities which they both really enjoyed. It's an absolute haven here and everything has been thought of! We have an electric vehicle and the prices to charge were very fair, and there were plenty of chargers too. I can't wait until my next visit and I would recommend this day out to anyone and everyone!
The Eden Project is an amazing place, full of beautiful plants from all over the world. You can see huge domes that transport you to tropical forests and warm climates. This place not only delights the eyes but also teaches about plants and nature. It's the perfect spot for relaxation and learning!
